Then, Lars' grandparents invited us inside, so we played there. Paul loves this rocking horse.
Well, then we came back home and had lunch, and now it's naptime. Guess the grocery store will wait until this afternoon today. The good thing is Paul was beyond exhausted when he went down for nap.
I also just started clearing out our "gardens" around the outside of the house. There are some pretty flowers poking through the soil, but you'd hardly notice because of all the sticks and dead leaves and junk on the ground. This year, I will finally have a pretty flower garden, one way or another!! It's just going to take some work to get it planting-ready. At least it gives me something to do while Paul plays outside! As you could probably guess, he likes to help pick up the sticks. Here are some "before" pics so you can appreciate when I can show you the "after" ones. :-)
Views from the front porch (the white thing is a bag with the first few handfuls of sticks and leaves.
Beside the house/behind the garage (Paul wonders what his crazy mommy is up to now, and you can see one of our kitties has escaped).
